My Health journey with functional food plant powders

In April of 2001 I was involved in a horrific car accident that nearly took my life; according to doctors, it should have taken it. I was hospitalized for 28 days and for much of that time I was in a medically induced coma.   My injuries included a flattened/busted skull, causing a now life-long struggle with short-term memory loss, a fractured nose, bruised kidneys, severed pancreas, ruptured spleen, near drowning due to fluid/blood filling my lungs, broken arm with a nearly destroyed nerve, causing me to lose feeling and complete use of my left hand for months, and a broken back that required two major surgeries. Through lots of prayer and an amazing medical staff, I made it out of the medically induced coma and was able to start a long road to recovery.   Although I survived, I have had to live with the permanent effects of my injuries. Because of the injury to my pancreas, the doctor had to remove half of it.  Because I am missing all of my spleen, my immune system struggles to keep me well. Because I am missing part of my pancreas, my body reacts negatively to certain foods.   I have never been dependent on insulin, except for a short while due to gestational diabetes, but I have had to eat much like a diabetic for many years. If I choose to eat otherwise, I will pay the consequences for it later.   IBS and sugar rushes were normal for me.  Other issues I had dealt with over the years were:  -Seasonal Allergies -Colds -Flu-like Symptoms -Strep Throat -Sinus Headaches -Migraine Headaches  My daughter, Ava, and I (combined) were in the doctor's office 4-8 times a year for some sort of antibiotic or an allergy shot. My daughter is generally pretty healthy, but seasonal allergies would really do a number on her, and she would usually end up with a sinus or ear infection. My husband, Larry, used to make a yearly trip to the doctor for a sick visit as well.   In 2015 I decided to try Juice Plus+. I was tired of being sick, and looking for ways to improve mine and my daughter's health. After two months of taking the DUO (fruits & vegetables), my daily sinus headaches went away. I decided a little later on to make it a TRIO, so I added the berry blend and soon after, I quit getting migraine headaches.
